| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na život Theodora Roosevelta a především na období, kdy zastával funkci prezidenta Spojených států amerických. Práce se také snaží pochopit osobnost tohoto amerického politika, který úspěšně posílil pozici Spojených států jako velmoci na počátku 20. století. Hlavní část práce se zaměřuje na vnitřní politiku, tedy především na Rooseveltovy reformy, a na zahraniční politiku, která posílila postavení Spojených států. |
| Abstract in different language: | This bachelor thesis focuses on the Theodore Roosevelt's life, especially on the period when he served as the President of the United States of America. This thesis is also trying to understand the personality of this American politician who has successfully strengthened the position of the United States as Great Power in the early 20th century. The main part of this thesis focuses on internal policy, primarily on Roosevelt's reforms, and foreign policy, which strengthened the position of the United States. |
