| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá mocenským postavením Indie v rámci jejího regionu Jižní Asie. Cílem této práce je potrvrdit hypotézu, že Indie je regionální mocností. První část práce se zabývá teoretickými východisky pro analýzu regionálních mocností. Druhá část práce pak následně přechází k samotné analýze indického mocenského postavení, na základě charakteristik regionálních mocností vytyčených v předchozí části. Poslední část tyto poznatky shrnuje a je z nich vyvozen závěr společně s potvrzením dané hypotézy. |
| Abstract in different language: | This thesis is concerned with India's position of power within her region of South Asia. Main goal of this thesis is to confirm the hypothesis, that India is a regional power. First part of this work is concerned with theoretical basis for the analysis of regional powers. Second part then moves to the analysis itself, when it explores India's power position based on the characteristics set out by the theoretical part. The last part of this thesis summarizes those findings and draws a conclusion out of them, which then confirms the central hypothesis of this work. |
