| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce na téma Arménské masakry 1915-1916 byla koncipována jako práce, která se zabývala společnými dějinami Arménů a Turků v Osmanské říši, především z konce 19. a z počátku 20. století. Cílem této práce bylo stručně představit Armény jako etnickou skupinu, dále faktory, které ovlivnily zhoršení vztahů mezi Armény a Turky, které vyvrcholily nejprve v Hamídovy masakry v letech 18941896. Dále jsem se zaměřila na příčiny, průběh a následky pronásledování Arménů v letech 19151916, kdy v důsledku perzekuce tohoto etnika Turky došlo ke statisícovým ztrátám na lidských životech. Předložená bakalářská práce byla zpracována na základě studia sekundárních pramenů v českém a anglickém jazyce s použitím základních metod historického výzkumu, především pak analýzy, komparace a kompilace. |
| Abstract in different language: | This thesis on the Armenian massacres of 1915-1916 was conceived as a work addressing the common history of Turks and Armenians in the Ottoman Empire, especially from the late 19th and early 20th century. The objective of this work is to briefly present the Armenians as an ethnic group as well as the factors that influenced the deterioration of relations between Armenians and Turks, which culminated in the first Hamid massacres in 1894-1896. I also focused on the causes, course, and consequences of the persecution of Armenians in 1915-1916 when, as a result of the persecution of ethnic Turks, thousands of lives were lost.
