| Abstract: | Cílem mé bakalářské práce bylo navrhnout kolekci úložného nábytku, která poukazuje na základní principy tvorby funkcionalistických architektů nábytek má tedy působit jako malá architektura v interiéru. Principy funkcionalismu jsem se snažila vyjádřit nejen konceptem, ale i volbou materiálů, které jsou pro něj charakteristické. Každý kus z kolekce má být inspirovaný různými zásadami tvorby tohoto směru. Výstupem práce jsou dva funkční prototypy z kolekce. |
| Abstract in different language: | As a subject of my bachelor thesis I have chosen to design a collection of storage furniture. The main idea behind the concept was to design a collection of storage furniture, which comes out by the basic principles of functionalist architects. These principles I have tried to express also by the choise of characteristic materials of that period. Specifically this collection consists of a bookcase, glass-door cabinet and side table. The work results are two prototypes of the collection. |
