| Abstract: | Alexandr Solženicyn byl významný sovětský a ruský autor 20. a 21. století, který se proslavil hlavně kritikou pracovních táborů a sovětského zřízení. Jeho zvětšující se nesouhlas s politikou Sovětského svazu přivedl k tomu, že byl nucen opustit zemi. Následný život na západě mu poskytl možnost vidět jiné politické postupy než jaké znal do té doby. Svou kritiku neomezil ani v zahraničí. Zásadní rozdíl spočíval v tom, že se více zaměřil na Západní témata. Za svůj život vytvořil také několik návrhů na změny v Sovětském svazu a později i současném Rusku. Ty ve velkém projevoval po návratu do Ruska v devadesátých letech. S ohledem na jeho názory bylo velice zajímavé, že ke konci svého života podpořil politiku Vladimira Putina. |
| Abstract in different language: | Alexander Solzhenitsyn was an outstanding Soviet and Russian author during the 20th and 21st centuries. He was well-known for his criticism of labor camps and the Soviet establishment. Eventually, he was forced to leave the country because of his opinions. Consequently, he had an option to experience life in the western countries, which gave him the opportunity to get in touch with new political approaches different from those he had known from the Soviet Union. However, he did not stop being critical. The main difference in his point of view was that he focused more on Western issues. He also created several concepts for changes in the Soviet Union and in contemporary Russia. Solzhenitsyn shared those concepts widely after he returned to Russia in the 1990s. Despite his attitude towards Soviet policy, he eventually supported Vladimir Putin's policy. |
