| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce analyzuje reflexi a dopad bitvy u Little Bighornu v dobovém americkém tisku roku 1876. Práce je tematicky rozdělena do pěti kapitol, které se zabývají třemi hlavními aspekty této reflexe - formováním takzvané legendy a historického obrazu podplukovníka George Armstronga Custera, indiánskou otázkou a významem bitvy v rámci předvolební kampaně roku 1876. |
| Abstract in different language: | The bachelor's thesis analyzes coverage and impact of the Battle of the Little Bighorn in the United States contemporary press of 1876. The thesis is thematically divided into five chapters dealing with three main aspects of press coverage - forming of so called legend and historical image of lieutenant colonel George Armstrong Custer, Indian question and the relevance of the battle in the election campaign of 1876. |
