| Abstract: | Tato práce se zaměřuje na bitvu o Gallipoli, která začala dne 19. února 1915 jako námořní bitva, později také jako pozemní operace. Bitva byla mezi Spojenci a Ústředními mocnostmi. Cílem bylo obsadit poloostrov Gallipoli, kde by britské námořnictvo proplulo Dardanelským průlivem, který spojuje Marmarské moře a Egejské moře, a poté dobýt Istanbul, aby vyloučili Turecko z války. Kampaň Gallipoli trvala do 9. ledna 1916. |
| Abstract in different language: | This work focuses on the Battle of Gallipoli, which began on 19 February 1915 as a naval battle, later also as a ground operation. The battle was between the Allies and the Central Powers. The aim was to occupy the Gallipoli Peninsula, where the British Navy would cross Dardanells, which connects the Marmara Sea and the Aegean Sea, and conquered Istanbul to exclude Turkey from the war. The battle end on 9 January 1916. |
